You have not had the Elgato. HD PVR has horrible color correction, Elgato you don't even need a color correction. hop off random.

For me, the size of the PVR fits on my desk so no problems there, 1080i is fine for me, the software is perfect nothing wrong with it. Cables, not a big problem i have thousands of wires behind my desk anyway. It was easy to set up, took me like 5 minutes and couldn't care less about flashback recording because I record 100% of the time...

I like how you only mentioned the negative things about the PVR...

I have a PVR and it works perfectly fine.Who cares what your getting and what you have?It doesn't affect us if you like the Elgato or PVR it really doesn't matter,they are both great recording devices.

There is the HDPVR 2, and its hdmi so less wires also i prefer the hdpvr quality.
