publisher: Square Enix
platform: Xbox 360 , PC , PS3
genre: Action - adventure stealth video game
Players: 1-4
rating: 18+

Synopsis

In the aftermath of Hitman: Blood Money, Diana Burnwood, Agent 47's handler with the International Contract Agency, suddenly goes rogue, carrying out a catastrophic sabotage that includes publicly exposing the Agency. The Agency reforms under agent Benjamin Travis; Travis assigns 47 to kill Diana and bring Victoria, a teenage girl in her care, to the Agency. Shooting and wounding Diana in her home in Chicago, 47, rather than executing her, comforts the dying Diana, where she gives him a letter and asks him to keep Victoria safe from the Agency.

Campaign

Well I have only played the single player for it so I can't judge online. The game takes place in the United States, mainly around the city of Chicago, Illinois, and a fictional town called Hope in South Dakota. This game introduces an online option to the series, where players can create their own missions for other players to complete.]In addition, the game features "instinct mode" which allows 47 to predict enemy patrol routes, much like the "sonar vision" that was featured in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction.

graphics

In my opinion the graphics are pretty decent. no blurry bits and stay good at all times. The game is very colourful and not just plain black where you find it hard to see. Overall it has good graphics in my opinion

Controls

The controls can take some time to get used to. You will find it hard to run , take cover , use instinct mode , how to toss things , overall the controls are pretty hard to get adjust too but when you get them it is very easy and you will start to enjoy the game alot more

Game Information
Release Date : August 13th (Windows) August 16th (Console) 2013
Developed By: Overkill Software
Publisher: 505 Games
Platform: Xbox 360, PS3, PC
Genre: First-Person Shooter
Players: 1-4
Rating: M for Mature

Synopsis (Wikipedia)

Payday 2, while very much the same as the original in base game-play, looks to improve on a number of flaws from the previous games in that it is a sharper and more polished experience. For instance, gun combat is improved, and the stealth mechanic from the previous game is given a larger emphasis, possibly making it a viable option in most of the 11 heists, though some are action-oriented from the beginning. Carrying loot is also modified, creating an actual loot bag which adds weight to the carrier, allowing for throwing the loot for a further player to pick up and carry instead. Carrying loot will also tilt the camera due to the added weight.

Cash loot from the game is no longer a substitute for experience points. Instead, it is used as cash for actually making purchases for character and gun upgrades, as well as items that may help on a heist, such as the codes for window shutters to prevent snipers from being able to hit the player while he remains indoors. There has been some debate as to whether this will result in the inclusion of micro-transactions, although David Goldfarb, the lead designer of Payday 2, quickly denied those claims.

New to the game is Crime Net, a brand new mission interface. Not much is known about its functionality, but it has been said that it will unlock certain heists depending on how a previous heist was finished. The "phases" system displays this in effect most accurately; players may under take longer missions, which are broken up into separate, story-connected levels called phases which can take place over a number of days. Depending both on a player's course of action, or a little luck in the random generation, the next phase may result in a different level altogether or possibly skipped entirely. Also new to the game are 4 skill trees, "Mastermind", "Enforcer", "Technician" and "Ghost", each featuring a deep customization tree of associated skills and equipment to master, and they can be mixed and matched as per the player's preference.

Campaign

The campaign of "Payday" is like no other out there. Instead of being only single player, it is mainly multiplayer, and instead of having a main walkthrough story line, you pick your missions and how the game turns out. As said before, the turn out of the game is based on you, and how you play, for example, if you do a mission fast and atrract lots of attention, then maybe later in the game you have to do extra, harder missions.

Graphics

In my opinion, the graphics are good, but for the times, not great. This game has great color, things pop out at you and are easy to see. you have to remember this is a smaller Developer so not everything will be top notch. Compared to the first game in the sequel, these graphics are next-level.

Controls

The controls for this game are stand FPS game controls, with the exception of the right bumper and left bumpers. Those being grab/use your player specific tool such as drill and/or pick up/throw bag.

Rating

8.5/10

Ultimately, this is a great game. You should check it out if you're a fan of FPS and high intensity games.

Although you each wrote the reviews yourself, both the Controls and Graphics were very short sections and you did not even write the story, you just put it under your copied synopsis. You must write the plot yourselves, not copy it. You can see that if you read Dimebags topic here. If you are having trouble with reviewing the controls, you can still talk about any difficulties you had such as camera angles, slow responses, a lot of combos, difficult/easy to pick up, for experience/unexperienced gamers, alike controls in the rest of the series, etc... Good luck

Infestation Survivor Stories

Game Information
Name: Infestation Surivor Stories (Used to WarZ but name was changed)
Genre: Action,RPG,Indie,Massive Multiplayer
Release Date: October 15th 2012
Developers: Hammerpoint Interactive
Publishers: OP Productions
Rating Level: Mature
Modes: Multiplayer Only
Console(s): PC
Price: $15

Synopis
Infestation: Survivor Stories is a zombie survival horror MMO. Based five years in the future following a horrendous viral outbreak of apocalyptic proportions that destroyed 95% of the worlds population, you must survive against all odds. Scavenge, defend yourself, band with others, or die in the process your life is in your own hands.
Taken from the offical Infestation site.

Gameplay
Infestation is a mass multiplayer game where you strive to survive against countless amounts of zombies playing as your own customized character. Well watching your back for zombies creeping up on you, you have to keep your eyes pealed for other players as the game falls under a free for all type. The map is very large taking hours to get from one side to another making the game have a large vast amount of space allowing you to explore many city's,villages and remote cabins. Along the way you'll need to find the basic necessitates to survive like: weapons, food, water and first aid materials. This game is the best when you're playing with a group of friends making it so you all have to be stealthy avoiding zombies and protecting each others backs while ransacking abandoned houses.

Graphics
The graphics for this game are very impressive making the game play very real feeling like you're almost in the game. The only problem is at night when it's very dark and your character does not have a flashlight it is almost impossible to see figures far away and sometimes close by. There is a option to increase your brightness which can help but will give your screen a white-like tint.

Controls
The controls for Infestation are relatively easy being basically the same for similar PC games. Although you can change the controls around to your liking the basic default controls are very user friendly making movement easy while other task buttons are very accessible when your under attack from other players or a group of zombies. A picture of the basic controls will be shown below.

You should write about the plot of the game, not copy the synopsis instead of writing the plot, they are different things. However, the review is very good, I'll look forward to reading about the plot

Synopsis
It is a free roam type of racing game nothing like forza's other game's like forza 5 they are based on track roaming not free world type of roam that made this game better then all the other game's they have made that deal with racing.

Gameplay
This game is fun to play you can go around buying car's and selling car's while doing race's and just doing little comation's againt's you'r freind's and Computer's the fastest car in the game is the bugatti which is over 2k coin's which is hard to get but you can't use it in every race very few unless it is Down graded from when you buy it from the store. You can also trade car's and gift them. You have to earn wristband's to unlock other race's to earn more coin's/token's and buy more car's you can earn more coin's for the difficulty of what you are playing on.

Graphic's
The graphic's are really good for a racing game their is diffrant view's for you'r car also Like ****-pit mode and 3rd person view and just viewing it from the front of the car.The texture is smooth which is good also. The pixel's are good but they can be better because the dirt when it get's on you'r car look's like paint which is bad because most of the map is either dirt, sand so they can do better on it

Muiltplayer
Their is diffrant game mode's for the game vertain racing and rookie racing and just plain out other game mode's if you play vertain you get more credit's but less if you play rookie same with other game mode's.Free play is fun also you can do any thing with you'r freind's and you will get No car's on so empty street's and Rental car's same with online gameplay. But you can't do race's to help out you'r campain Nither have all the feature's that you get while playing single-player.

Control's
They are fairly easy but if you haven't played the game in a while or use to Forza 4 it is hard but other then that it is easy to use. They can also be hard if you are driving faster then usal because it can be hard to control you'r car.

My review's
Gameplay:9.8
Muiltplayer8.5
Graphic's9.5
My fianl rating is 9.8 This game is a must get if you like racing or looking for fun in a free roam racing game also!

Rayman Legends
Release Date: August 29 2013
Developers: Ubisoft Montpellier
Publishers: Ubisoft
Platforms: Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation Vita, Wii U, Microsoft Windows.
Genre: Platform

Synopsis
Rayman Legends is a platform game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. It is the fifth main title in the Rayman series and the direct sequel to 2011's Rayman Origins. It was revealed in a leaked trailer that appeared on the internet on 27 April 2012. Originally announced as a Wii U exclusive, the game was also released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 29 August 2013 in Australia, 30 August 2013 in Europe, and 3 September 2013 in North America with the PlayStation Vita version being delayed in Australia to 12 September 2013 and in Europe to 13 September 2013. It will also be released on 17 October 2013 in Japan, as a Wii U exclusive published by Nintendo. A free Challenge mode was released on the Wii U eShop on 25 April 2013.

Plot
Rayman, Globox, and Teensies have not been here for a century. While they were gone Bubble Dreamer's Nightmares has gotten stronger, but also the magician did too. Rayman and his buddies get awakened by their friend Murfy. Murfy tells them the bad news, and tells him that the 10 princesses of land and Teensies have been captured by Nightmares. What do you know Raymans always a hero, he and his friends help defeat Bubble Dreamer. After you defeat 4 dark Teensies and fighting the worst of the worst nightmares, Rayman goes to Olympus Maximus to confront a giant cloud of just straight up nightmare. After all of the Darkness has been destroyed sending the last Teensie to the moon for the credits roll. If you can complete challenges in this game you get rewarded with Lums.

Gameplay
The game still carries the fun themed of Rayman Origins in which you can play up to four players to beat the campaign. All Lums can be collected by touching them, completeing challenges, defeating enemy's, and freeing Teensies. If you collect Teensies you can unlock new worlds to play on. The main characters are still Rayman, Teensie, Globox, and a new one called Barbra. You can also play as Murfy, the green bottle, who has various amount of tricks. The game has 120 levels and 40 remastered levels. Some of the levels are really challenging and some of the levels are really easy to play on.

Controls
I played this on the Wii U with my little brother so I'm going to be talking about those controls. Anyway the controls on the Wii U are really good not to confusing and not to hard. The player can move around by moving the right stick and look around at the same time by rotating the game pad to look around for enemy's. The only downside of this is that there are a combination of buttons you need to press if you want to hit, fly, or jump. I really think that they should keep it to one button and one button only. But other than that the controls are reall good.

Graphics
The Graphics in this game are really good. The way the fire comes up is just perfect timing and perfect lighting. The characters you play as are very detailed for this kind of game. I don't know if I mentioned this but you kind of play it like a Mario game going sideways instead of playing in third person and going straight. The spells that the magician casts are very amusing and cool to look at to see what happens. Just a really good game on graphics and everything.

MLB 2K13

Game Information

Name: MLB 2K13
Genre: Sports
Release Date: March 15, 2013
Developers: Visual Concepts
Publishers: 2K Sports
Age rating: 9+
Modes: Single Player, MyCareer, Assosciation, and Multiplayer
Console(s): PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

Synopsis

Its a season of notable change in Major League Baseball. The Houston Astros are now in the American League finally evening up the division sizes and in addition to the many big free-agent signings around the game, the Blue Jays now look a whole lot like last years Marlins, thanks to a colossal offseason trade. All of these shifts have been implemented in MLB 2K13, as youd expect, but thats about all thats changed since last years mostly stellar iteration.

Gameplay
There have been no improvements form MLB 2K12 and MLB 2K11. This game was literally a copy and paste from previous games. 2k SPorts had said they weren't going to release it. Then last minute they announced they would. Unfortunately, It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be. The gamemodes are the same as last year. there are some glitches in the game. David Price is the cover star. The achievements are copied to. That is just sad. The gamemodes are the same such as My Player, Franchise, and MLB Today. This was a poor effort.

Graphics

Graphic are exactly the same as last year. There are lacking visuals and gltiches that still haven't been fixed. Some players don't even look like it's them. David Ortiz looks very skinny. Ichiro Suzuki looks fatter. A sac fly hurt your batting average. My cleanup hitter batting in the first inning with no one on and only 1 out My my player stops mid stride and spins in a circle. MLB 2K13 didn't do any redesign in preparation far as presentation.

Controls

The controls are somewhat good. There is great analog pitching mechanics. Sometime I get confused with which button to steal. Sometimes when I press a button it doesn't even work.
You use the analog stick to get the ball on the wood. It's easy. Pitching is fun when runners are on base and the pressure is on. Other controls are the same and easy to use. Especially when fielding.

Ratings(Personal)

Looks like some other company needs to pick up the license once 2KSports is done with it. So far we really only have one option for each sport: Madden for football, NBA2K for basketball & MLB: The Show for baseball....unless you own a Xbox, then it's this game...which is a shame.

Game play: 6/10
Graphics: 4/10
Controls: 8/10
Overall: 5/10

007: Quantum of Solace
Release Date: October 31 2008
Developers: Treyarch, Beenox, Vicarious Visions, Eurocom
Publishers: Activision, Square Enix
Platforms: Microsoft Windows, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360
Genre: Action Adventure

Synopsis
007: Quantum of Solace is a first-person shooter (third-person shooter for PlayStation 2, DS and Wii) video game based on the films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360. The game was released on October 31, 2008 in Europe, November 4, 2008 in North America, November 19, 2008 in Australia and March 26, 2009 in Japan. The game's release coincided with the release of Quantum of Solace. The game is the first James Bond title published by Activision; the company acquired the video game licence to the James Bond franchise in 2006. The game was released on multiple platforms and was developed by four different companies: Treyarch, Beenox, Vicarious Visions and Eurocom. It is powered by the Call of Duty 4 game engine. It is also the first James Bond video game to be released on a seventh generation console as well as the first to feature Daniel Craig's voice and likeness, as well as those of Eva Green, Judi Dench, Mads Mikkelsen, Olga Kurylenko and Mathieu Amalric.

Plot
The game kicks out when James Bond kidnapping Mr. White, a member of an unknown terrorist group. While James Bond and his crew start to ask Mr. White Questions, they start to get attacked by Henry Mitchell, who is killed by bond later in the storyline. Then James Bond starts to spy on the Quantum group in the campaign here and there. The campaign the jumps to Bond Crashing in Bolivia, where Greene is buying land at. You then meet a girl who is wanting to get revenge on a person trying to overthrow Bolivian government, General Medrano. What Bond didnt know is that the girl he meets, General Medrano killed her family. Bond and the girl go to a hotel where Greene and Medrano are discussing the land that he wants to buy. The player also figures out that Greene would help him overthrown Bolivia in exchange. Bond and the girl then break up the meeting killing both and then the end comes. I'm gonna leave it up to you to figure it out.

Gameplay
The single player in this game is really good but also really short. If you haven't figured out already this game was based off the movie James Bond Quantum of Solace. When I was playing this game it really did remind me of this movie. But lets get back to the game, every mission in the story line was really action packed. What I disliked was that there was not as much challenges in it. The multiplayer in this game reminded me of the Call of Duty series. The player can compete up to 6 players and verse each other in many various game types. All players have 2 lives. Multiplayer is only on Xbox 360, PS3, and Microsoft Windows which is a down side.

Controls
The controls in this game are absolutely AMAZING. If you have played any of the Call of Duty series (which you have probably) it's exactly like all of those controls. The only thing different is that Y or Triangle is to jump and A or X is to Dash into cover or get down, it doesn't really take that long to get used to them either. Other than that all controls make it easy to play and are just perfectly set out overall. Some of the DPad buttons I don't think should be there but it's fine.

Graphics
The graphics in this 007 series is pretty good for a 2008 kind of game. Of course when you see the cover page of the game you would think that it'd be good, but it's also the title cover for the movie. Every explosion and every shot fired actually can make it feel like your watching the movie or actually in the game. I know I keep on relating to the Call of Duty Series on this, but If you are familiar with the graphics in those series then you will definitely recognize these. All the guns and people that you kill looks so detailed and smoothly latex out. Some improvements Not alot though.

Plot
This campaign starts off after the events of Skyfall, James Bond is shot and left for the dead. As he hangs in there he starts to remember some previous Events of his lifetime. After all of that is over with James Bond begins to realize that he isn't dead yet and he's still alive. He then starts tracking down Patrice to Shanghai where he stops am assassination plot and kills the assassinator. The game really begins of at a classic or What if kind of story campaign. Really really short should make it a longer game.

Gameplay
If you have played the game GoldenEye 007: Reloaded then you will be like is this the same game. This game shares alot of gameplay with that game. In this games single player they made it so that you have to be more stealth like and not get caught. If you decide that you don't want to be stealth then there is a run and gun em down option to choose. To make the game more stealthy game they of course brought back gadgets to use like the watch where you can fire lasers out of it. There is one thing about this campaign that is a dislike, you have to earn XP to earn certain gadgets. That's the only downside in that, now lets go to multiplayer. In this game Multiplayer is for every platform. Players can play online with up to 12 people in the game or offline where it's you and your brother fighting. There are 50 levels in this game but they added something new: 00 Specialization, this is like the prestige system from Call of Duty. Players can equip gadgets to help them through multiplayer. It's really fun to play.

Controls
The Controls in this game are fantastic, barley any changes needed. I know I said this my last review to but the controls are similar to Call of Duty controls. Almost every button has there own control except two of them but they are understandable why they do. X to reload your weapon and hold X to interact, Y to switch weapons and Double Tap Y to have a p99 quick switch. Now the things that don't need added are Right Bumper to throw your primary weapon, and Left bumper to throw secondary weapon, when you run out of ammo i think it should either drop the weapon for you or it just switches the weapon for you like in Call of Duty. Other than those minor problems the Controls are amazing.

Graphics
The graphics in this game are really good for these kind of games. Every computer system in the game that you see is highly detailed. When your in a hand-to-hand combat with another person there face looks like it took alot of time spent into it: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . All of the maps are smooth and have sharp corners and smooth edges. Some of the guns are great looking others are to skinny looking or just oddly shaped. Explosion and fire are pretty good. Could use some improvements but overall the games graphics are great.

Very's Game Reviews!

For my first review it may not be the best standard, but I'm hoping they should get better within a few weeks, although some of the information may need correcting as I do struggle as I do have learning difficulties. So here goes my first, Black Ops 2 Review.

Gameplay/campign & Multiplayer:

In my honest opinion, I believe the campaign to Call of duty series has not really meant much to them. I was really hoping for a fantastic campaign mode last year, to be left with a boring story-line a pointless ending & not many options as usual. Although they did have a big bite back when they added back 'Call of Duty Zombies' again. It did shock me for how big the map is in comparison to Black Ops original & World at war zombies maps. After spending the first you weeks of multiplayer, it did seem to still be very dull & boring yet in a sense time consuming (addictive) as per usual. They have seemed to have over powered all the common weapons and under powered the rarely used ones. Please remember this is just my opinion, I have not fully researched into it. If I knew the game would be like this from the start, I would not have purchased it. Although the facts are true 'the graphics are very good, weapons are better' so on. I would not recommend it to any non-serious gamers. It is just not fun.

Weapons & Unlocks:

I must admit, the Weapons & Unlock system is nice & new! Finally Call of duty have come up with a better idea than before hand. There is more options such as new perks, weapon attachments etc. Although the system is good, it still is very boring & dull. If they could have spiced it up with a bit more 'intimidating' classes. Not undefeatable classes for lower ranks would've been a better idea, in my opinion they did not use us 'Serious gamers' much choices, as many of the others just didn't work for us. Everyone uses the same stuff which also effects the gameplay. Again after reviewing the weapons & unlocks system I still would not recommend to Non-serious gamers.

Weapons & Unlocks:

This is the part I actually enjoyed reviewing! As the maps on Black ops 2 are pretty much perfect. I have searched every spec on every single map, I have currently found ONE bad thing about them which is, head glitching. The graphics are immense which goes well with a good game (which can be quite rare) I love every single map, they so far have released 12 I believe new map packs? My favorite is still going to be Raid. Each map is perfectly sized so any type of weaponry you chose to use, even sniping is possible once again! I myself don't feel the need to 'Quickscope' But from time to time, I occasionally do. All the maps are so dynamic, there is almost hundreds of places you can survive easily on every map. Although then again, their is always a way you can die. My favorite part about the maps, dare I say it you cannot really 'camp' for very long because like I said surviving in small maps like Raid or the new map Dig. This would be the only reason why I would recommend to serious gamers, as some like to try really hard & succeed.

Controls:

As per usual Black Ops 2 have stuck to their original (A, Jump, B, Prone, X, Reload, Y, Switch weapon Left thumbstick movement of the body position right thumbstick movement of aiming sites/arms. L3 Knife LB, Secondary e.g stun grenades, RB, Primary e.g. Grenade, semtex, RT, Shoot, LT, Aim down site (ADS). & Once again you can chose to customize these by navigating through the options menu, either in game of main menu.) I actually like it they original way as after years of experience, you get used to it.

Conclusion

  • My Overall Rating:4/10
  • Graphics:6/10
  • Gameplay:5/10
  • Controls:6/10
  • Weapons / Unlocks:6/10
  • Maps:7/10
