Even for editing videos? I heard the i7's were best for that?

I need something that is the best for gaming and can edit/render videos the fastest ?

I'm willing to bet money that the editing and rendering you do is not heavy enough to make the i7 worth it over the i5. Of course it will be faster, but not 100 GBP faster. For gaming and day-to-day usage there will be zero difference.
Ya plus for some gamers use i5.

Most gamers use the i5 because there's no point in spending more for games.

I have just spoken to a company that builds pc's specifically got fsx and they said that the 3770k will provide just upto 7 more fps over the 3570k but I am unsure weather that warrants the 100 pound more because that extra 7 frames at 20 fps could make a massive difference between lag and smoothness? I must also add that they did say the 3770k and the 3570k are still both excellent for fsx?

20 FPS? What? You should get WAY more than that. 7 is not much at all in the grand scheme of things and if you're after FPS you should spend it on a higher-end graphics card.

There's the 200 GBP one, by the way.

Do you have a Nvidia one you could suggest Its more of a personal preference and I personally think Nvidia offers better gpu than ATi

Neither makes better products than the other. Both AMD and Nvidia are better than each other at certain price points.

The 660 Ti is the only logical alternative. It's the next tier up in both price and performance.

Thanks I will probably get that card soon and for AMD vs Nvidia for fsx Nvidia provides better support for it.

AMD has admitted that fsx with clouds even a 7970 will be brought to its knees

I don't see why you are determined to get an i7 when the i5 is just as good but without Hyper-Threading. Honestly you are just wasting money if you buy an i7 which could go into a better GPU, unless you are actually going to be using the i7 for its benefits then yes it would be worth it but from a few of your topics you are just wanting to play some games.

Sometimes games play better with different graphics manufacturers. Get the 660 Ti. BF3 is a good example of Nvidia having an advantage for this reason. Plenty of games LOVE AMD cards, too.
