Metal is Metal man. R00t_B33r, I understand that some sub-genres you dont agree with, but everything doesnt have to be labeled to tee with a sub-genre. Your obviously against metal-core, but your saying its not metal. You might not think it is, but alot of people do, including me. I dont see why people say it isnt. Thats like going off on somebody for saying Twisted Sister is rock, when they're Glam-Rock, but honestly, who cares about sub-genres. They're still part of the overall genre. Its so hard to make it in rock/metal nowadays, and just throwing a band under the bus because of a "sub-genre" labeling is just blatent ignorance and disrespect. I respect your opinion, but I respectfully disagree.

Now to add my to cents into this topic. One of the best Hard Rock/ Metal bands.

I like that this thread has both "classic" metal such as metallica and slayer, and modern metal. Here's some good stuff (in my opinion anyways)

All classic thrasher metal etc i listen to was already named on here so i put those newer bands. Lets stop fighting about sub genres, metal is metal haha
