Ishcabible wrote Geez, you're missing a lot. I'll add a few bands to the list: Bathory, I Killed the Prom Queen, Kamelot, Katatonia, Lykathea Aflame, Meshuggah, Sign, Pavor, and Cloudkicker.

-_- yea thanks for the help i'll try to get to those asap.

If you like Cloudkicker, they have their music as "Name your price" on Bandcamp. Theoretically, you can download all their albums for free, but you should donate a little something anyways.

its ok i guess, its just not for me its a great but i just keep expecting to hear some one to start singing and i dont.

Metal thread?

>Asking Alexandria
>All That Remains
>Breaking Benjamin

What are you doing, OP.

I'm not going to act like I haven't liked Breaking Benjamin for who knows how long or that I don't enjoy a lot of ATRs stuff, but it's not metal. ATR is metalcore, and that's a distinction that needs to be made. AA is just garbage.

Huh interesting well you clearly can't read seeing as it says if you want to see anything else just ask. Also I didn't realize that metalcore wasn't a sub category of the bigger category known as Metal bro? But thanks for letting me know. As for AA being garbage that's just your opinion and I would like to keep that out of my thread. This is hear for people that have a common interest in music and were they can enjoy it ok.

I read just fine, thanks. Point is that your perception of metal is limited and a bit skewed. Real metal heads would completely discount this thread upon seeing Breaking Benjamin and some others listed. There's not even classic good old thrash like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, etc.

That couldn't be further from the truth from my experience. Most people who listen to metal core don't have the nerve to call themselves metal heads either.

Idk about that I truly enjoy all forms of metal I mean r we all really that different? Metal bands today came from the ones in the past who started it all. They all have there ups and downs but it comes down to the fact that we all enjoy metal.
