He had a mental breakdown, he was pretty much committing suicide via cops.

It's his fault for having a airsoft gun out, obviously the police thought it was real, but its still bad that he got shot for not actually having a gun, i personally think he shouldn't of been killed.

Police take every action as a sign of aggression so I don't think they should be charged

You have to put your self in the police's shoes as well, though.

If you see a "mentally distraught" man that is waving a gun around and presents a threat to the safety of the public, you have to take action.

It's a sad story, but I don't think anyone can blame the police.

The responders should have been better briefed on the situation before they decided to go all gun hoe on a mentally distraught person.

I don't know if anyone said this yet but, the cops couldn't of known if it was a real gun or not, if the man wasn't responding or something, then that would be putting peoples lives at risk.
