If you managed to patch the error on a Jtag ultimately couldnt you bypass live enforcement checks = online ?
just an idea correct me if im wrong ;)

This has been known for like 7 months now, nothing new...
It gives you an error because the "challenge response" is obviously the response from microsofts servers. Means it has to be connected to their servers IN their factory.

yes but if you somehow modified the .xex or the system software couldnt you ultimately bypass the challenge ?

Personally, i think you are looking at that wrong. I would think it would let you use functions normally only available when connected to live.

And to the people who are on about getting around the error, put it this way, it would be like trying to connect an Xbox to PSN.
