Requirements:
Official Xbox 360 Memory Card
A way to connect this memory card to the PC, such as the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

How to:
First connect the 360s Memory Card to the PC.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Do not format the Memory Card when asked, you will ruin it.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Load Xplorer 360 up, then select Drive > Open > Hard drive or Memory Card
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Now click Partition 1, in the file area right click and select insert file, dump only default.xex in to the root of the memory card, do NOT dump the .ini file or it will cause the menu to auto MFG mode.

Thats it, youre done.
Just place the memory card in Memory Card Slot A and power your Xbox 360 on, it should then boot in to manufacturing mode.

Manufacturing Mode booting on a Xbox 360.
As it cant connect to a server running on the network it is pretty much usless, although unlikely you might someday be able to exploit the Xbox 360 like this a bit like the Pandora Battery for the PSP, although I wouldnt hold your breath, apparently the whole thing is a dead end.
Never say never though (Pun not intended)

It's cool, but why does it give you an error? What could you do if you don't get the error?

Ya dud eI looked up some more stuff on it. There is an option that is "bypass live checks" or something along those lines. I'm gonna try this even no you can't do anything. lol maybe editing the manufacturing files? who knows
I know you gave credit to XBH, but you should also give credit to InsaneNutter on [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] too.
