my xbox one is like that too sometimes when insert a disc it makes a grinding sounds like it can't grip the disc properly and it don't play. but I'm just gonna get a new dvd drive for it

if you don't the controller get cronus max and use whatever controller your want. the rest don't even matter coz at the end of the day its about the games not menus

send it back sometimes controllers get this problem
