I just got a ps4 a few hours ago, to tell you the truth I really wanted it because PS4 users get the map packs and stuff 30 days early but I hate it the controller the start up menu everything. I know there are fanboy's out there defending the PS4 nut who cares, anyways I try to like but I can't I really don't see why everybody love it so much. But my mom went out and got me it and I don't know what to tell her she spent $400 dollars for nothing I'm grateful because I can get the map pack early but I minus well wait a month then on that piece sh*t I'm sorry if i offend anybody but I need some help what do I tell her, do I just not play on it until the map packs come out or sell it to get her money back.

Tbh I was an xbox player but, I moved to ps4 because all my friends were on there and I didnt like it either you'll pick up on it soon you'll like the controller and everything just keep on giving it a try man

If you wanted it for so long, surely its worth keeping "for now". If you still feel the same when the DLC drop. Then thats maybe when you should say something. Maybe find someone to swap it for an Xbox or sell it. But if i was you id hang onto it for a while.

Not much to do about the start-up menu, but all i know is that somehow FaZe Rain uses a xbox 360 controller on his PS4 so you could go try to see how to do that. Hope this at least helps a little.

Getting a PS4 because it gets maps early on Black Ops was not a good reason to get it. I don't like the PS4 for the same reasons you don't. The controller is small and awkward, the UI looks horrendous and I would be leaving behind my account of nearly 6 years if I switch to PSN. I don't know where you got it from or what their return policies are, but it'd be worth calling them up and asking about it at least.

Eh, just stick with it. Don't tell your parents you don't like it. Don't do that. It'll grow on you. If you still have problems with the controller down the road then pick up a controller converter.

Probably wasn't wise to spend 400 dollars on a console, just to get the DLC early. Just stick with it and maybe invest in a converter or something for your controller like Belial said.
