My question is directed at any staff member who can answer.

Who decides what members are rated awesome? There are a ton of great members on this site and I'm just curious who makes the decisions on who is the best. Hope that made sense. Merry Christmas to y'all

I also have one more question. I remember gold members used to only be able to give 50 rep at a time, I think. Now, I can give 75. I know some other non-staff members are able to give +175. What determines how much rep you can give? Is it a certain post ranking or badge ranking? Just been wondering for a long time. Again, directed at any staff member. Thanks
