First off I think it's important to thanks all of the staff for keeping up this site, regardless of its ups and downs I'm really impressed with where TTG is and has been.

My question is what decides someone being picked as moderator? I understand there's lots that go into this decision as a user has to be supremely trusted but what is something to kinda get your head out there?

Not saying I'm entirely fit as a staff member but I just seen in a previous post that there isn't many reports coming in for spam or useless posts and I see bucket loads, of course I report all of these and generally see myself reporting 3-4 posts alone. I don't even always report cause sometimes I think some posts are so useless that I'm surprised it hasn't been spotted and taken down.

I'm from Atlanta and have ties in Boston. The Braves are the only non-Boston team I like as I'm a Celtics, Bruins, and Pats fan.

I was at a Falcons SB party. It was amazing.

A lot has changed over the years but the #1 thing that matters now is trust. Warnings go in for about 1% of the decision. It doesn't matter how good of a member you are, if half the staff team doesn't know who you are, that's half the staff team that doesn't trust you.

Famous gets a lot of shit he doesn't deserve; I think he would make a good admin.

We get paid in gold and rep.

Chord wrote Really directed to all staff: What brought you to TTG and what keeps you at TTG currently? What ups and downs did you experience as a member of TTG.

I joined the site seeking help regarding a corrupted MW3 save on Xbox 360 which was causing problems for campaign, special ops and multiplayer. What keeps me on the site is that I am fortunate enough to be able to help Sean out with general staff stuff, but the memes in the Shout Box are also enjoyable.

-Deano wrote General questions to any staff:

1. How busy does the incoming reports get?
i.e. Is it easy enough for a couple of staff to slam through them all or is it a big group effort to keep on top of it all?

2. How many reports would you say, on average, you handle in a given day?

3. If you had to pick one major issue with TTG, what would you improve upon and why?

Also, Merry Christmas to all the TTG staff and members too!

The incoming reports are pretty slow nowadays, it could be handled by any one staff member, but the reason we have a bunch of staff is to do our best at being able to respond to reports 24/7 so that no offending content remains visible for long. the average amount of actions a member of staff does per day is around 40. One thing I would like changed is the PM system whereby it consolidates all communications between you and a single user in to one PM thread; think of it being like the IM system. The reason I would want to make this change is to help unclog users PMs as currently all PMs are listed separately, causing a single PM conversation to get jumbled with others as well as you having to navigate back and forth between PMs.

Here is my question, What is your favorite part about TTG? Is it being staff or? Let me know below.
This is kinda directed to all, not really sure who to direct it to

The Shout Box is a quaint little place to joke around with other users.

Allergies wrote My question is directed at any staff member who can answer.

Who decides what members are rated awesome? There are a ton of great members on this site and I'm just curious who makes the decisions on who is the best. Hope that made sense. Merry Christmas to y'all

The Admins are the ones who have final say as to who should be issued an award, but of course if a member of staff feels a certain member deserves an award, we will look in to it and discuss it with them.

Matthew- wrote To all staff; what's best part of being a staff member of TTH?

Shouterday in the Shout Box when the special staff emotes go active and we can chant some Jerry! Jerry! whilst doing a barrel roll and learning the name of some well known wrestler.

With your Admin powers, what do you enjoy doing the most?
What do you dislike doing the most?

Directed to all Staff members
Would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and an awesome New Year.
Would like to thank you all for keeping the site running as smooth as it does even in the Christmas period,
you guys do an awesome job.

I enjoy issuing awards as I know it will make the user's day like when you were 4 years old waking up in the morning and going downstairs to look at the presents under the Christmas tree. I truly dislike having to deal with bad eggs on the site who choose to be dirt.

Allergies wrote I also have one more question. I remember gold members used to only be able to give 50 rep at a time, I think. Now, I can give 75. I know some other non-staff members are able to give +175. What determines how much rep you can give? Is it a certain post ranking or badge ranking? Just been wondering for a long time. Again, directed at any staff member. Thanks

The Reputation sending limits were increased a while back, you can refer to the SITE FAQs as to how the limits have been changed.

Trustworthiness and general attitude shown around the site.

Very glad. Now I can charge him $20,000 for Admin. We don't get paid, we volunteer.

Suhpose (Now goes by Zach) was like "Bruh, you wanna be staff?" and so I was like "Lemme think about it" and so I thought about it and decided sure. And now here I am.

Icy-Tank told me I was getting promoted, I was never asked lol. Normally the Admins will have a discussion about who should be added to the team.
