You're not going to get a decent curved 1440p high refresh rate monitor. Ignore the curved aspect, it's a bit of a gimmick. It's alright on bigger ultrawide monitors but its not something you should go out of your way to get.

27", Freesync instead of G-Sync. With this, you'd want to swap the GTX 1070 for a Vega 56.

Or, one of these with G-Sync;

1440p, 165Hz, G-Sync monitor. Put the AIO in there for aesthetics if you really want. Stock cooler is sufficient for the i5-8400 though, or a $20 air cooler like the Cryorig M9i would be more than enough and improve aesthetics. I'd want the 8600k if I was going with the Strix Z370 mobo and a 240mm AIO so you can up to the 8600k and stay just under $1600 if you want. Again though, remember the 8600k value is reeeaally terrible. Better/nicer case, and better, fully modular PSU. SLI support with the Strix mobo and 750W PSU.

Hey 13, sorry but my budget just expanded to 2k usd with monitor, would it be worth the extra money to squeeze more out of a computer?

Grab a 1080Ti instead of the 1070 if you can manage it.

Whichever is cheapest and you like the look of. Just dont get a blower style cooler. Make sure it's open air.
