13 WYA?

Hello guys I am in need of a PC, I am not traveling as much anymore an would like to spend a little extra for a better PC. PC will be used for gaming,
Budget: 1500usd including monitor
Need: PC, and monitor, nothing else, want to be able to run max on all or most games,
Would like a 1440p 144hz (unless u can talk me into getting a 60hz) monitor 32" curved or 27 curved" no ultra wides bc most games do not support atm,
Colors: Black an red with RGB components, not into stringing a bunch of lights around so built into the parts would be cool, but not necessary.
AIO cooling system is a must, pc will be OCd

Thanks in advance,

You're not going to get a super dialed system with your budget and requirements. First of all, you don't need an AIO to overclock. Mid range to high end air coolers are just as good as some of the cheaper 240mm AIOs. That said, $65 for an AIO isn't too bad so I included one as you requested. However, are you dead set on overclocking? With Coffee Lake, cosidering the pricing, I'd really recommend an i5-8400 instead of the 8600k ubless you're an enthusiast and/or really set on overclocking. The 8600k is 40% more expensive than the 8400, and the 8400 is already a super solid CPU. PSU isn't quite what I'd want in a $1500 system with a GTX 1070, but it is a perfectly good PSU, especially for the price. I'd personally just want to spend a bit extra for a better, fully modular PSU but I'm kind of a PSU snob.

Lastly, for monitor, you're just not getting a high refresh rate 1440p monitor with your budget, at least not with a GPU capable of running 1440p at 100+ FPS. A high refresh rate 1440p monitor and a GTX 1070 are $800 already. Add an 8600k to that and you're already up near $1100.

That said, you could do this;

Monitor: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($389.99 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Total: $1514.81

165Hz 1440p monitor with G-Sync, but you have to sacrifice overclocking support, get a cheaper motherboard, drop the cooler and use stock(at least for now)

Thanks so much, overclocking would not be a necessity but sense I overclock most of the time thats where my head was at. I know AIO isn't need but something that I just want in the build. That being said, I can expand the budget to close to 2000usd, I would rather not hit that if necessary, but with the builds you provided is the monitor hurting the build with a 1500usd budget? If i expand too 2000usd with monitor would I gain a whole lot? Again thank you 13 you work magic

Also I totally forgot to mention, storage is not needed on this build, already have the ssd you linked along with a WD black 1tb HDD

Having storage makes it much easier tbh;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

1440p, 165Hz, G-Sync monitor. Put the AIO in there for aesthetics if you really want. Stock cooler is sufficient for the i5-8400 though, or a $20 air cooler like the Cryorig M9i would be more than enough and improve aesthetics. I'd want the 8600k if I was going with the Strix Z370 mobo and a 240mm AIO so you can up to the 8600k and stay just under $1600 if you want. Again though, remember the 8600k value is reeeaally terrible. Better/nicer case, and better, fully modular PSU. SLI support with the Strix mobo and 750W PSU.

Even though the value of the CPU is trash... Money really is not the issue, will i gain a noticeable amount of performance with the 8600k vs the 8400? Also I had my eye on this monitor, it doesn't have g sync but it is curved [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

No, the performance gain with an overclocked 8600k over an 8400 isn't actually that big. The 8600k is definitely better, but not worth the 40% price increase IMO, unless like I said, you really just want the ability to OC and don't mind wasting money.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't get that monitor. The Dell one is a lot better, and G-Sync is going to make gameplay significantly smoother/better.

Understood, also in terms of monitor i was looking for a little bigger an curved, 27-32 curved. I am willing to expand my budget for a bigger an better monitor.
