Make sure if you use PayPal, (which id recommend) do NOT pay as Friends and Family, that way if he scams you, you are not screwed and are able to claim for a refund from it.

Just sort the safest way between the both of you and if it feels even slighty dodgy, the gamertag isn't worth the risk!

for one, do not try and switch the gamertag to your main account as soon as you get it, wait a while.
it can be taken quickly by the dude who's selling it to you. ask him if he got the gamertag from an exploit, because if he did you can't swap the tag to your main account.

Buying a gamertag, especially an OG gamertag, is a risky business. Make sure to send the money as "Goods & Services" to avoid being taken the money and the account in a scam.
