Pretty cool Reminds me of a project I did in high school where I sculpted a wolf in that stance. What was the inspiration?

This is incredible, you're really talented. I have nothing negative to say about this, it is insanely detailed and I absolutely love the detail you have put into the wolf. Do you have any images of your progression for other parts of the design like the background or the warrior? I would love to see how you created them.

I've been about to enter 3 posts about this photo but kept closing the tab because I changed my mind but I finally want to talk to you about this. Overall I would give this whole picture a 10/10 from the details of everything to the setting of it. Just one thing is how the guy is doing his pose. His pose just doesnt look realistic. He should be more crouched down protecting himself more with the shield instead of only blocking his high spot. Maybe im wrong and he's bashing the wolf with the shield but from what I see the warrior lookis kind of like a minecraft character or a stick figure. Like Vmp said about his arm it also just doesnt look right. Dont get me wrong I love what you did to the warrior and every detail on him besides how he's standing fighting against the wolf.

Like everyone else, the detail & level of effort put into this is incredible, there are a few niggling things which have been mentioned like the stance of the warrior & the fact they're not looking directly at each other.

The only thing I can add to that, and it is minor - however if the wolf is in the water, you should incorporate some water splash around his feet due to the fact he'd have attacked at speed

Lighting, detail and atmosphere is spot on.
The background and wolf look good but the warrior is horribly disproportionate, and throws an awkward miscomposition to the piece. I would go back and redraw him to look proportional to himself and the environment he is in. I would to a study in character models and posing, drawing books may help out here as someone previously suggested.

Thanks, Gart. Ive never really been good at drawing people proportionately.. i might actually have to look into some drawing books on that. I dont even remember when i started this piece, but im sure i had a reference pic for the pose, or something... or maybe not. I think i have have made it off a sketch i did at work. And the background is actually from a photo i took and then messed with, so i thiught that was a pretty cool comination.
