I think it's a beautiful truck, can't go wrong with a Lariat FX4 lol. My only concern is that is has double the miles it should which makes me think it's a leased vehicle, but it's hard to find an almost new vehicle that wasn't leased. The reason I don't like leased vehicles is because people rag on them because they're pretty much just a rental. That 3.5L Ecoboost is supposed to be a good engine though.

Other than that, I think it's a decent price. If I were to spec that truck out on Fords website I'd expect to see a price of at least 45k MSRP. MSRP is not what you'd pay for a vehicle, I think brand new 0 miles in 2014 you'd pay about 35-40k for that truck. I look at every year / 10k miles as being a 1k value, meaning the truck is 2 years old so it's 2k cheaper than new, but has 40k miles so it's 4k cheaper than new. To me I'd look at buying for around 30k but I think it's priced fairly. It is hard to find a crew cab "long bed" (6.5' bed), then add on it's an FX4 Lariat in black.

One thing to keep in mind when looking at a Ford vehicle, the color Oxford white (what us normal people would call white) is known for having issues on all years and all models of Ford vehicles. It's been known to come off if you take a decal or an emblem off. Not as bad as Dodge's paint from '94-02, but still not the best results.

If you're looking for a cheap used truck, I don't think anything can beat a 97-03 F-150 4x4 with the 4.6 or 5.4. If you need any help on it, go to the F150forum site and people there will help you in a matter of minutes. Or PM me, I've done too much to my '97 so I know a ton about it lol. These trucks are easy to work on and the 4.6L if taken care of properly is damn near bullet proof.

Depends on what your wanting out of the truck. If you don't plan on upgrading the truck then I would get a newer one. Although if your wanting to upgrade it such as lift, tires, and wheels right after then get a semi older one like an 04-06 Duramax with low mileage then you will have about 10k left over for upgrades. It really all depends on what you want out of the truck and what your going to use it for. But hell then again, if you have enough money then get a new one and upgrade it when you have enough money. Regardless of all of that, I would say stick with a Chevrolet for anything gas, and a Duramax or Cummins for anything diesel.
