To me, religion is something that some people fall back on when they have no other hope remaining. It gives them a fight that they can use to make it through a tough time. I guess that is when I tolerate it. Other people thank god for every good thing that happens to them and that is when it bothers me. You should be thanking yourself, not somebody whose existence has never been proven. I'm an atheist btw.

Don't know if you live in America or not but that is a right of theirs to believe that god was the one that saved them even though I do find it slightly annoying (dont believe in god much even though I do want to) they do have a right to say whatever they want.

I'm just plain tired of hearing the word "god".

After all the tornado's come through you hear the people on the news saying how god was watching over them and saving their house, blah blah blah. No, science was in your favor.
