If you already have a car then I would go with the PC.

If you already have a vehicle get the computer. But if you don't then fix up the truck.

buy the truck, take it apart and sell as parts, usually cars can be worth 2X in parts, the tranny probably worth 400$

How old are you?

Fixing up a truck can be REALLY expensive. We are trying to restore my dad's '79 bronco, and to get then engine the way we want it is going to be around 4-5k (we have the block, this is just the things that go on it).

If you restore the right one you can turn a profit and you will definitely learn a lot about vehicles.
