Most "racism" in school is purely a joke. But for some people they take it too far. Most racism is held towards black people too. I only make racist remarks to people who I am close to and I know they can take a joke. Otherwise, I stay away from it.

Racism shouldn't be joke though, I think that's where we all went wrong.

Although I'm not a big fan of asian stereotypes or racist jokes I make a few once and a while out of anger or silly thought. Regardless though, it's just a tad annoying. Kids these days are growing up in a generation that accepts racial comedy when in reality it's not comedic, just providing a platform for prolonged issues throughout the years.

I think no type of racism should be allowed, and should be more enforced by the law.

What annoys me is that no one can be arrested for being racist.

Although if someone commits a crime out of racism (hate crime) I believe there are greater consequences. But of course, just being racist in general, yeah...that'd cause more of an issue than those who are racist or just joke. Regardless, racism = no good.

If it's in a school it's most likely jokey racism which you can get away with, its when you become older it becomes less acceptable, i know its not good in either circumstance but i see your point, just smack him in the mouth next time

I have never understood Racism. How such a small thing can lead to major disagreement and arguments. I guess this is just something that will always be an issue in life.

That kid that said that to you needs to get some sense knocked in. He clearly has no idea what would happen if he said that to the wrong guy.

Stand up for yourself. no need for violence, just the way i chose to deal with the situation

-MzN- wrote The race card is pulled way to often. I mean look at the academy awards. Not one movie with a black person as a main role or black person in nominated in the academy awards. WHat does Al Sharpton do? Says the voters are racist. But you dont here white people complaining about how the NBA hasnt had a white MVP in over 15 years. Double Standard is at a all time high because of people like Al Sharpton
Steve Nash was MVP 2 years in a row a few years back

I think it depends on who it is, and the context. For example, comedians make racist jokes. That's their job. If a person simply can't handle the fact that a white guy made fun of a black guy or vice versa (Not just black and white but all races), then they should just quit life. But if it's a racist remark/"joke" that was said in vain, then no. I believe that it is unacceptable and should not be used. If you are really going to get upset about a simple racist joke from a comedian or someone similar then you shouldn't be on this Earth. But basically any other racist remark is inappropriate.
