Two police officers shot [non-fatally] and a suspect killed.

I don't think your definition of what should or shouldn't be posted in the world news is right, but hypocrite much?

OT: Killing police officers isn't going to stop whatever people think is wrong with them.
They're just going to crack down harder on people now.

With all the attention the NYPD is getting right now over the 2 officers deaths recently, has made World News and the Eric Garner case as well. So 2 cops that got shot in NYC is very much World News right now. Five Months from now or five months before this would not have been "World News"

It's not even about generalizing. It's the fact that their job is to protect and serve.

Please tell me the evidence that is behind this photo? Anybody could have taken this photo and added that the police beat me this man up for jaywalking. Have you ever thought that this man was involved in an attack and the police broke it up? Of course not because you are closed minded and ignorant. A photo of an Asian man being arrested by police does not justify it due to Jaywalking.

I'm from the UK and 2 police officers being injured in America does not concern me.
As far as I'm concerned, being a police officer means you're probably going to be injured, it's like a news story about a fireman suffering burns when tackling a flame.

There's also no evidence whatsoever that this was motivated by race, or what has been happening in America with the riots.
This is about as relevant to the riots as the two police officers shot in WVA.

Are we going to be seeing news stories about the injuries suffered by NYPD officers for the next few months, no matter how small they are, just because 2 NYPD officers were killed, and Eric Garner got choked to death?

Ask yourself, do people really care about my opinion? Of course not. Just because you think it doesn't concern you does not mean that it does not concern someone else. And who brought race into this? I sure didn't.

This is all concerning to me. Officers staying safe is a large priority for me. I plan on becoming an officer. It's sad that we are so criticized. It seems like 1 bad cop ruins it for the rest of us. It's just wrong to kill those who risk there lives everyday. They are human beings too. #thinblueline

I was only following through on your logic, so congratulations, you've just proven that you're being a hypocrite.

The two police officers who were killed was because of race, Eric Garner's death was more to do with police brutality, but it's still being treated by many as a race issue.
If there is no racial connection between this shooting, and the shooting of those two police officers, then why is it world news?
According to your own logic, it isn't, it's local news.

So,
Are we going to be seeing news stories about the injuries suffered by NYPD officers for the next few months, no matter how small they are, just because 2 NYPD officers were killed, and Eric Garner got choked to death?

Also, I see you're the type of person who likes to pick and choose which parts of a person's response you reply to.
So in the future, just cut out the parts you're going to ignore. It makes it less obvious.
