Is it just me or does it seem like every single cod game takes place in the 2500's+?
Call of Duty these days is way too futuristic. We went from fighting zombies to fighting aliens and robots! I didn't mind Black Ops 1 because it was set in the future but it's every game after that that takes place in the way way future. Let's take the new Cod for example. It looks like Gears of War, Titanfall, and cod put together. I don't plan on picking up the new cod because I will eventually sell it like I did with Black Ops 2 and Ghosts.

Blackops 1, was set during the Vietnam War.

They said they were trying to get away from snipers and quick scoping because it was overpowered. One shot kill guns are overpowered, especially if you're good at quick scoping.

I honestly don't mind the futuristic aspect they're using. I'd prefer a game based around WW2, but I like CoD games either way.

If you're losing 1v1 confrontations with people who quick scope then I believe you should just drop the idea of ever playing cod again. You would honestly have to suck so much. Its a one shot kill yes but you also have a sniper vs an assault rifle... do you think they should take out the knife too? Its one hit kill and you can easily lose to a knife if you have an assault rifle. Lol? I hate cod with a passion but kids like you make me want to play it when I hear you having an anurism and crying when people who quick scope kill you

How is black ops 1 from the future when the story line if from before the 2000s

Older CODs seem to evolve round conflicts in that era or about either world war. I think the next could should be based on the Ukraine vs Russia situation.

that's where bullet drop and huge maps comes into play

mine is bo and bo2 just because of zombies but multiplyer mw2 all the way

Go back to MW2 style of CoD and I'll buy it anyday
