Did you hear about the leak about a CoD game that takes place in a WW1 alternate reality setting. Maybe that was a leak to Treyarch's next game. Who knows though.

you pretty much have to be really good at quick scopeing, witch most poeple are not so they try try try making it unfair for the people who are deadicated snipers like me

I was talking about this last night with my brother and I honestly dont see why they would still name it CoD if there going this futuristic in the game. It looks like the new one is going to be an attempt at Titanfall basically but and I still wont get it. They need to bring back the old things or just let battlefield series take over

I Am sure people are more interested in what happened in the past than some made up future. I Enjoyed the cod 4 and mw2 single player of the game. Not all of it was real but some was which made it really interesting.

I Hope one day Cod will learn from its fans.

They said they were trying to get away from snipers and quick scoping because it was overpowered. One shot kill guns are overpowered, especially if you're good at quick scoping.

I honestly don't mind the futuristic aspect they're using. I'd prefer a game based around WW2, but I like CoD games either way.

How about they should just stop COD in general.
Its turning into complete crap.

As long as they stay away from the World Wars, I am fine. I do prefer if it was modern though. Mechs and metal suits just don't really seem fun to me.

Call of Duty these days is way too futuristic. We went from fighting zombies to fighting aliens and robots! I didn't mind Black Ops 1 because it was set in the future but it's every game after that that takes place in the way way future. Let's take the new Cod for example. Black Ops 1 was mixed between Cold War, Vietnam era and I guess you can count some WW2 since it's in the campaign. Black Ops 2 was set in the future but not by much. However, I do agree that the "modern" and future era in CoD have seemed to have been overused. With BO2, Ghosts and the new CoD being in the future, that's already 3 games in a row. Now I'm not saying the new game coming out is bad or anything as I have only seen the trailer and nothing else has been released, especially multiplayer wise. I am curious with how this will change the gameplay of CoD with what they're adding new to it, but at the same time I also feel they might be overdoing it and jumping way too far futuristic wise for the gameplay. I personally would like a CoD that was in the older era. Maybe then, I would return to CoD like I how used to play it.

I judge book covers very well actually. Implementing future stuff in cod should only go so far. When you keep adding random shit and the hype still lacks to present itself, you should try taking a step back.
