I wouldn't doubt it at all. America wanted to win the "space race". So odds are it was very well faked.

I honestly don't care but here is my bit,

If we "faked" the landing, the Russians would have done the exact same thing, if not earlier?

i think it is one of the most plausible conspiracies out there. there is evidence supporting either side but I personally bevieve that the landings were faked, simply because I have a descent bias against our government. They always seem to make poor decisions and do things in a sketchy, misleading manor.

Just my opinion.

The flag acts the way that it does specifically because there is no atmosphere on the moon.
The flag was in zero G meaning that it wouldn't just flop down, it would float around, and because there was no wind resistance, the force of the pole being put into the ground would cause it to wave.
They also held the flag open using a mesh wiring that ran through it so that it could clearly be seen on pictures for the more patriotic Americans.
It acted exactly how you would expect it to on the Moon.
