In my opinion it is a bunch of lies and is fake. Why could we do it then but can't do it now?

No but in all honesty, It all has seemed legit up until I saw that the flag was blowing. I thought there was no oxygen in space? If that was the case there would be no air to allow the flag to blow. I think that if they find an explination to that then I will be a believer. If not..meh

You don't need "oxygen" or "air" for a flag to move. Because space is a vacuum, there's not air resistance on the flag, which in turn means the flag would continue moving after he twisted it into the moons surface.
