Gaining muscle requires consistency and dedication, I've been training for about 3-4 years now and it's the best thing I've ever done.
Since you said you're skinny you have to eat more.

Try to go over 2,500 calories a day and maintain that if you can, to put on some size.
You may also have a high metabolism which will make it harder to put on weight, so eating a lot is crucial if you wanna bulk up.

You will need some sort of supplementation as well.

Look around Bodybuilding.com as well, they have loads of good workouts and it is the best place to be if you want to build muscle.

Good luck.

It won't happen in a week, thats for sure. You have to go to the gym often (5 days a week) and train. Its not easy, and you won't get big if you quit, or slack off.

The best way to gain muscle would have to be dedication. Go to the gym.
Use supplements that help you to stay energized and to gain mass.
You have to eat. Turn food into muscle. Develop a habit of having
a good diet. Protein is a major role in gaining muscle. Also this wont
happen over night. It takes time.
