Seeing all that crap has made me question my decision on whether to join or not. Thanks for your input.

I have recently joined my local lodge and it is nothing like they portray in the books, movies and internet. it is a great thing to join there is a structure to the whole thing, and as a comment back masons do not have robes and swords, that is the Knights Templar which is an off section of freemasonry, also the highest degree or level you can obtain in freemasonry is your 3rd degree or master mason once obtain that degree you are able to move onto the holy royal arch, the Scottish right, the Knights Templar, the shriners and other organizations

There's too many clues in the media which points to Freemasonry.

To be honest, it's probably completely different to what conspiracys say... There is a Freemasonary club in my local area and nothing really happens there...

My great grandfather was a free mason. I have his ring and sword too. He was one of the nicest guys in the world.

My great granddad was a very high ranking in the masons! he would never talk about it to me tho, i think it was because i was young
