Perfect- wrote All these kids think they just deserve stuff if I was there parents I'd buy them nothing or just coal. I'd actually make them work for what they got.
No, not nothing. That would probably ruin their childhood. Something small but nothing too big, If they work hard and show responsibility then possibly buy them something more.

I don't really understand what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure I get the basic idea and I agree.

I am trying to say that kids think they are going to get everything and when they dont get it they get mad and frustrated.

I'm 14, like 'IOC'... Am I not allowed to call him, myself or anyone a child? Besides, I don't have a problem with someone of any age making posts on these forums, as long as they can present valuable points in a sophisticated tone by using legible and correct grammar and punctuation. Do you?

As long as the person is grateful, and thank and tell the parents how they thank them so much for buying them that, i think it would be fine to exchange it. If they throw a fit about it, now that's a different story.

I respect that, I just didn't see the funny side of it, since it's overused.

Kids are like that because their parents spoiled them too much as a kid.

I saw a post earlier that said, "I got the xbox 1 for xmas and im taking it back to the stor because i wanted the ps4." I'm like, seriously? You want to take a $500 console back to get a $400 console? Also, you aren't happy with a $500 console your parents probably put a mortgage on just to make you happy and you didn't want it? Be happy with what you have because most people don't have the opportunity to have all of the things you have.

I was reading this and thinking it all depended on how the kid approached the situation. If I was a dad and my kid said "hey dad thank you so much for the xbox 1 I really like it , but everyone in my class got the ps4 so I was wondering if we could exchange it for a ps4." I would of done that. If he was like "OMG WTF I WANTED A PS4 not a XB1 what the hell dad" then that would be evidence supporting that children are so ungrateful
