I saw a post earlier that said, "I got the xbox 1 for xmas and im taking it back to the stor because i wanted the ps4." I'm like, seriously? You want to take a $500 console back to get a $400 console? Also, you aren't happy with a $500 console your parents probably put a mortgage on just to make you happy and you didn't want it? Be happy with what you have because most people don't have the opportunity to have all of the things you have.

Even though I am not really into the Xbox One, I would still go " [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] John Wayne Gacy" on the kid who said that statement.

I wouldn't necessarily deem this as an ungrateful matter. There is nothing wrong with disliking a gift you got if you wanted a different console and if you do it in a mature and proper manner. When I was younger, I got an Xbox 360 and told my parents that I didn't actually want it. I wanted a PS3 instead considering that it was about 50 dollars cheaper than the Xbox 360. And hey, his parents could save 100 bucks.

I gave thanks to your post to show that I agree with you on how the child that you mentioned in the post (in particular) is ungrateful. However, I think the title of this thread is wrong, since it seems to me like you're describing all children as 'ungrateful' when that's definitely not the case!

It's not children. It's our generation. We need to change society as we are society. Everyone always blames society but that's who we are. People in foreign countries are lucky to get water, clothes, food, or even just to live to the age of 14 and we are over her complaining because we didn't get what we wanted or complaining because we didn't get it when we wanted. In order for the human race to live on We need to Not change the world But be the Change.

I sort of disagree with your post. I mean, if you're going to get a present worth half a grand, you might as well get the proper one. It will probably mean the world to this kid once he gets his PS4.

I'm happy with what I get. I had to go to my dads house and my 6 year old step brother didn't get a game he wanted and he threw his little chair at my dad and threw a huge temper-tantrum even though it was behind the couch.

Well, I think little children are so Un-Greatful because they have and want everthing what they see in Town shops/ City Shops, and that's were there manors are not very nice (Let's just say that)
