This is a picture from the inside of my case and I was wondering if these raised screw holes work as standoffs. My case only came with 2 standoffs and I read somewhere that some cases now have raised up screw holes that work like standoffs.

So it'll be fine if I screw my motherboard directly to these? It won't short it out or anything?

those are holes for standoffs to be put into. ALWAYS use standoffs, and yes, it is possible to short the board, and guaranteed without them it'll warp. If you don't have enough for the mobo, order some online and don't risk ruining a crucial piece of hardware.
