The 660 is cheaper than a 7870. I'd go for that.

Not true. Maybe last year when the 560 Ti was still relevant, but no longer. It's the same price for a card with a good cooler, the 560 Ti uses much more power and needs another connector, and the 7850 overclocks MUCH better.

I have no idea why anyone is comparing the 7850 to a 670. That's not a valid comparison. As for the 660 vs 7870, they're priced about the same, again. The 7870 performs better on average and overclocks better.

Not to mention the fact that the 7870 XT or 7870 LE cards will destroy the 660 for a bit more. With these Tahiti cards, performance per dollar is just ridiculously good and I can only recommend the 660 if there are power restrictions because it uses a single 6-pin PCI power connector.
