I received a new computer for my birthday and I am looking to upgrade my graphics card. I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 620. If anyone has any suggestions on what i should upgrade too that would be great, Thanks.

A few questions...

How much do you want to spend and what currency?

Assuming you have a prebuilt PC, what is the model number?

If it's not prebuilt, what components does it have?

I'd go for the GTX 660 or 660 Ti. Theyre very good GPUs, and are able to play most new games on High settings.

Hope this helps

...And both outperformed by the AMD cards at their respective price points.

A OC 7850
or 7870 would outperform both of those cards While a cheaper card. The only thing nVidea Has over AMD is PhysX

Well, also CUDA, and drivers :trollin:

The 660 is cheaper than a 7870. I'd go for that.

nVidia has drivers :trollin:
Because AMD currently the v13.1 drivers which means a Overclocked 7850 Is better than a 670?

But a 560 Ti is as good as a 7850, so unless youre watercooling the 7850, its going to get really hot if youre going to overclock it to the point where it beats a 670...
