Despite what most other people tell you, it's because of soccer moms. Due to the soccer mom's inability to control what their kids are playing, she has to convince the retailers to limit the purchase of M rated games to people 17 or over. Which again, I think is wrong. Violent video games really don't do anything, as long as the person is old enough to tell the difference between what is real and what is fake.

There should be another rating, maybe 15+? PEGI and the Australian rating system has something similar. If there was a 15+ rating, a lot of games, including Halo, COD, Elder Scrolls, most shooters (excluding really violent ones such as Gears of War), etc, would be placed under this category. Most of the games that are in the M category aren't safe enough to be placed in T but aren't bad enough to be placed in M, so there needs to be a rating in the middle.

CallMeSkier wrote Ive been thinking, i have been playing halo for as long as i can remember with my cousins, now that im 16 and i have my license im wondering why i still cant purchase an M rated game by myself when im aloud to drive almost anywhere i want. I also have my Firearms and Bow license for hunting which your aloud to get when your 12, it just doesnt really make much since to me.

-I mean, honestly call of duty (The modern warfare's) should be rated T instead of M. The only thing that's in them is violence.

Does anyone else think the same way or am i the only one?

Honestly, all I thought of reading this is that mature people would know how to spell ALLOWED. I can understand if some 8 year old used it wrong but come on.

It seems the ultimate Grammar Nazi has made a mistake in his post. The OP's post was still readable, and even though he made one typo, it was still a perfectly legitimate post. If you don't have anything valuable to add to the conversation, then you don't need to post.

Mistake, not purposely stupid and wrong. No, there is nothing wrong with it. Go learn some grammar, really. Your change is wrong anyway. If it was AFTER reading this I would've used WAS, not IS. All I thought of reading this IS.

BTW: You weren't adding anything constructive either. Why did you post then?

Alot of places dont even ID. I don't get ID'ed at Walmart whatsoever. So I'd suggest finding a store that doesn't ID.
