Ive been thinking, i have been playing halo for as long as i can remember with my cousins, now that im 16 and i have my license im wondering why i still cant purchase an M rated game by myself when im aloud to drive almost anywhere i want. I also have my Firearms and Bow license for hunting which your aloud to get when your 12, it just doesnt really make much since to me.

-I mean, honestly call of duty (The modern warfare's) should be rated T instead of M. The only thing that's in them is violence.

Does anyone else think the same way or am i the only one?

It's because the mere sight of a drop of blood that totally isn't a part of everyone's body will make a minor instantaneously die :3

i do find the fact i can drive around, but not buy M rated games or go to the movies and watch a rated r movie slightly dramatic. i can drive to the video renting place and rent all the rated r movies and m rated games i want but going to games stop they wont let me get it. luckily i only have to worry about this for a few more months.

It's to help parenting really. If parents say it's ok to play them, then it's all good. They just don't want kids going and buying stuff that the parents may look down upon. Call of Duty has more than just blood and violence. It has strong language, suggestive themes, and use of drugs. I personally think use of alcohol should be labeled as well. Some parents don't want there kids seeing that, and with the world we have now I can't blame them much. Shouldn't protect them 100%, but don't subject them to it that much either. I persoanlly feel it's for the best and always have.

I completely understand why they have those ratings and to be honest I agree with them.
Its to keep little kids off of them, and give more power to the parents.
Its fine with me now that Im almost 19.
