If you dont want to mod. Then dont mod. If you want to mod then you can do so. The creators will support modding and encourage it just like they did in Borderlands 1. The only thing they dont like is when you do crazy mods. So they got rid of those. but they allowed you to do everything else. So yes there will be mods for the game within the first day. I guarantee it. And for people like me and it makes the game more fun. because modding is a challenge and most of the people dont do it to ruin the game's mechanics nor do they want to make it super easy, they do it for the challenge and to keep them interested in the game.

There will more than likely be modified weapons on Borderlands 2 but Gearbox might try to prevent them like it the first game. (Remember how they tried to prevent them in a couple of patches?)

Ya true, but i feel after a couple of years of the game being out. They stopped patching it kinda just let the mods slide. (i dont know what the current status is of the mods because i havent played it in a couple months) But i feel that they will just try and prevent the major mods and allow the smaller mods.

They think it's cool when we mod weapons
