No one else with a Kinect and a Jtag has had this problem?? It's so frustrating that I can't get my jtag to detect the update on the usb stick!!!

i did i downloaded kinect update from microsoft and work-ed a treat

That's obviously what I'm doing, but my jtag isn't autodetecting the systemupdate folder on the usb stick. I think it's because I have dashlaunch installed and my jtag boots into xexmenu...

Haha tried that to, but it says my system is up to date. Clearly it is not up to date because my avatar doesn't work, when i click customize avatar it says i need a system update and when i try to play a kinect game it says I need a system update. But when it recognized the update on a disc, it says "System up to date"

get your ini file off the xbox and edit it in windows to boot to nxe and see if the update auto runs from your flash drive

I'm looking at the info_launch.ini and sample_launch.ini What do i do with them? Sorry I'm a newb, I'd like to just uninstall dash launch completely and boot to the freeboot.

take the file sample_launch and copy to ya flashdrive..edit in windows and rename it to launch.ini if u haven't edit it before u should be ok i'm not sure u might have to google how to change launch.ini to boot to nxe...

I got it to work! I was injecting the systemupdate folder on to a fat32 usb instead of dragging and dropping it with windows. Now another problem haha. When doing the initial setup, it says "The Kinect Sensor has insufficient power." GREAT
