The sawed-off is terrible like why do you think the gnashers bad? It takes skill to use, unlike the sawed-off were you need absolutely NO accuracy. Same tactics with sawed-off Hide behind walls, shoot, run, reload and repeat. I have never been killed by a gnasher by more then 10 feet away. You must die from it because you run in a straight line as your getting shot. You're trash and the sawed-off is also trash.

first of all if your getting killed from the gnasher that easily you need to get more skill and second of all the gnasher is way more realistic.. is a shotgun really only gonna go 3 feet?

You say that you 'carefully wallbounce', but I'm sure if I joined a game with you in it, you would be sitting behind cover waiting for someone to appear then blast them away.

I have never seen anyone 'Carefully wallbounce' while using the Sawed-off, due to the fact that they are bad and cant master wallbouncing.


My opinion is they shouldnt of added the sawed-off, it is like Epic are making noobs now.

I've played through both of them's campaigns on insane.
Like I said. It doesn't take ANY skill to get kills with shotguns in Gears of War.
They're just some shitty weapons in online mode, cause everyone is using them as primary weapons.

And don't say I'm a noob because I wouldn't be able to use it. I am "able" to use it.
Even a little kid is able to use them, as many of the GoW Players are little kids. (Not all of them though)

Campaign is nothing like multiplayer anybody can play campaign. You're just saying all that because you suck at multiplayer, face it. Gears of war is not just about gun skills, its about playing smart and knowing how to navigate the map. Oh and you know there's little kids in every video game right?

Gnashers must be related to the longshot because i get downed from across the map all day with the gnasher. Also it has 8 bullets and a .5 second reloads for actives. Now for the sawed-off, it takes skill. First of all, with the Sawed-off if you find an enemy you have to carefully wall-bounce back and forth and be as covert as possible to get up close. Now with the Sawed-off you only have 1 bullet and a 10 second reload. So every shot must count. I understand you do not have to aim if you are close with the sawed-off because of it's widespread range but honestly guys, if you cannot down someone who is running to you and cannot shoot you or harm you in ANY way, thats just sorry. Also if they miss with the sawed-off because they have to be SO CLOSE to the enemy for a kill(unlike the gnasher) then you have all day to unload on them as they try and take cover.

Also they have had a 8 bullet shotgun with a .5 second reload since the beginning of GoW, now they bring in a 1 bullet 10 second reload and every complains? LOL

All i'm going to say is your a noob sir, the Gnasher is classic and requires skill unlike a sawed off, for example if im using a gnasher and ur using a SoS and i encounter you i couldn't do enything because you'd just sit behind a wall and either wait for me or mantle kick me and then kill me and the same with wall bouncing no matter how good i can wall bounce as long is im on your screen when you pull the trigger then im dead. the gnasher has been how it is since the dawn of gears, the sawed off is different. now i dont play with the sawed off i play with the gnasher, im not going to preach that the sawed off is stupid and shouldnt be in the game. Epic made it how it is for a reason deal with it. They had to contemplate the sawed off alot, whether to put it in at all, to have it as a starter, or to make it a power weapon. they chose what they chose for a reason stop with this crap

Go back to Call of Duty, or Halo or whatever it is you play. You obviously don't know how Gears works. It's pretty sad how you kids play the game. Hell 90% of the time I get killed by a Sawed Off is walking into a room and getting blasted from the right side. If you miss, then you do a jump backwards and start running like there's no Fking tomorrow. When you're finally done reloaded ( 99% of the time you scrubs will miss the reload and mess up ) then you finally find another corner and rinse and repeat.
