Closet I ever got to an 'outer body feel' was due to the help of some unmentionables :nyancat:

But Lucid Dreaming is the only way I know to do with out the use of a substance.

I get out of body experiences atleast once a month. It would happen randomly, and it's almost as if you're losing control of your own body.

This past year, I've been diagnosed with various different issues.
I've had:
1. Anxiety
2. Panic Attacks
3. I'd feel as if nothing was real, or why am I in existence type feeling.
4. I'd feel numb all over my body, or be highly sensitive to metal and sharp edges.
5. etc. etc.

This all happened after having a panic attack from smoking marijuana that a friend had offered me. It was a bad idea!
I had an anxiety attack, and all I could do is panic, it wasn't good (Not saying that marijuana is the cause, it was just the trigger).

Weeks after, I had surgery on my wisdom teeth, and I was out for about a week on the couch, only watching netflix movies and playing video games. This caused stress and I then had an out of body experience out of no where!

At some points in time, I will be in the middle of a sentence and I'll feel like I have no control over what I'm saying, but I'll just continue speaking. This then causes me to have panic from my " Out of body experience "

Basically, what it is in my perspective: You feel as if you no longer can control your actions for a small period of time, and you feel as if your own mind is taking control over your spirit (if you have any spiritual beliefs). You feel like you can't control what you're saying, and everything you do is not by you.

Hard to explain, but that's what happens to me. If you have anymore questions, just pm me, I'll be happy to help.

An out of body experience can be really mind opening, some drugs will give you this experience but it isn't something you would want to experience by using drugs, it's really scary at the moment.

I've had a couple, all from taking substances. I was lucky and none were bad trips, I felt safe in them all but yeah they were weird, really good for me helping with my art and that though.

I've never done it. I'm sure it's possible, however.
You're better off trying to lucid dream, it is a comparable experience.

I remember when there was a big thread about Lucid dream like 2 years ago.

all i have to say about this is that you better want to leave your body if your do any substance that will allow you to do this because it can be scary and might change a lot about your aspect on things in life depending on what happens or what you see. (personal experience, and seeing other people)
