Ok, I see all these topics about LD (Lucid Dreaming) I will give you a full tutorial on this, also using different methods.
To start, let me associate you with terms, LD=Lucid Dreaming, OBE=Out of Body Experience, SP=Sleep paralysis, REM=Rapid Eye Movement, WILD=Wake-Initiated Lucid Dream-Method one.

TWO methods - A lucid dream can begin in one of two ways. A dream-initiated lucid dream starts as a normal dream,(method two, easiest) and the dreamer eventually concludes it is a dream, while a wake-initiated lucid dream (method one) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state, with no apparent lapse in consciousness.

Ok so first things first, lets start our LD.

Two methods, I will start with the most known and used, and most time consuming.

First method, credits go to me mainly.

First you can get really tired, or go to sleep, wake up between 3-5 hours later. When you do either, relax, stay still, dont move at all, your brain will send impulses to see if you're awake, ignore them at all costs, these can include: Itches, coughs, movements, etc.
Once you are done with that, just sit there for a minute or two. Relax! Don't close your eyes. Now, you can listen to a relaxing song or just relax, for five minutes, now you can slowly shut your eyes, then stay awake for up to 10-60 minutes. STAY STILL! Ignore above impulses. You should not be able to move due to SP, after a little while, when you realize you cant move, open your eyes, if you keep eyes open to long, you will experience bad hallucinations, things like people killing you and worse, and you cant even move. Then, close your eyes slowly again, you should now be able to dream. I will tell you what you can do in an LD after the second method.

Examples:

An example:
"well i tried tonight i played my favorite calming song on the piano to calm me down. the first time is extremely scary all the so called signals were sent to my body like they were suppost to after ignoring them for awhile i started to get really tired and somewhat felt a weight on my chest i was calm and cool untill i herd a female voice. it scared me & i opened my eyes and moved.
second try was almost the same execpt after i felt the weight on my chest there was a male voice ad it was very deep. i couldnt make out any words because of the song playing but i didnt get scared this time i let everything happen and when i felt it was right i slowy opened my eyes. my room was way darker than normal & at the same time it was getting darker really fast. this scared me mainly because my friend that tried this said he awoke in the dark before he took control. so i just got scared and moved, the normal brightness in my room came back and i went to sleep normally =/. gonna try again tonight t"

Credits go to sevenfold for this example

Second method, credits go to me again.

This is a real simple method.

First, once every hour you are awake, try to look at something on you that never changes, a piercing, your hand, your toes, even your genitals ;) and ask yourself "am I dreaming", you don't have to ever hour on the dot, but make it so it becomes a ritual. Within a few days, you should now be doing this by reflex, since its now a ritual. This ritual will follow into your dream, in your dream, you can have six fingers, no genitals, opposite genitals, one toe, weird crap. When you do this ritual, you will realize you are dreaming=LD, when you do that, you can do anything you want, fly, have sex with your dream girl, lift a car, and it feels realistic. You remember every detail the next morning, or at least most.

Now onto what you can do: You can do anything, you can fly, swim, transform, hold your breath forever, be a gun, be a robot, solve cancer, the abilities go on and on. Most peoples favorite is to have sex with their dream girl.
An SP happens from REM, here is how:

During REM sleep the body paralyzes itself as a protection mechanism to prevent the movements that occur in the dream from causing the physical body to move. However, this mechanism can be triggered before, during, or after normal sleep while the brain awakens. This can lead to a state where the awakened sleeper feels paralyzed. Hypnagogic hallucination may occur in this state, especially auditory ones. Effects of sleep paralysis include heaviness or inability to move the muscles, rushing or pulsating noises, and brief hypnogogic or hypnopompic imagery. Experiencing sleep paralysis is a necessary part of WILD (wake-initiated lucid dream), in which dreamers essentially detach their "dream" body from the paralyzed one.

You can also have an OBE, which can be EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Not always, but in rare cases it can.

An OBE, terminology above is an Out of Body Experience. Ever heard of someone near death saying they saw the operation going on, or saw someone in their coma, it can be true, and you can do it too.

To do this, (again WARNING, it can be highly dangerous) You need to get into your LD, when you are there, you must imagine yourself climbing a rope, or flying a rocket, or going in space, I cant guarantee it will work as its very hard to do. But many many tries and you will succeed. You can fly around the area you are in, while in your OBE, see whats around you and who, and more.

This TUT is written only by Fanta (austintyler8897) no one else can or may take my credits without my approval or credits given.
+rep/thanks if it works GL=Good Luck, so GL with your OBE/LD.

I'd like to do this, but I keep hearing about the Sleep paralysis. I'm worried that will happen, because from what I hear, it sounds Extremely frightening.

Its a normal dream, only difference is, you realize you are sleeping. @MisaCampo, for more info, AIM me at Austintyler8897. @Teqnicul, Like I said, its like normal sleeping, you just can't move, unless you think about waking up, really hard, otherwise you will have horrible hallucinations, , don't worry though, with the second method, you dont need to worry.

Every time I try to do one I get scared and don't do it.
It's just like, I think I'm not going to wake up or die.
