Right, so i think it is time to upgrade. I am keeping a few things but mainly want a new processor. This was not used as a gaming PC before you say about my specs...

Current Specs

i3-2100 - UPGRADE NEEDED
Gigabyte GA-H61M-GS2 - UPGRADE PROBABLY NEEDED
Corsair TX650W - Don't think this needs changing
Seagate 1TB - Keep
Intel 240GB SSD - Keep
Komputerbay 8GB (1x8GB) - Keep
Stock cooling - Maybe
GTX645 2GB GDDR5 - Maybe
Zalman Z11 plus - Keep unless you can give a reason to change to another..

So yeah just suggest fair price upgrades, can sell old parts to put towards new. Will be using for maybe GTA 5 and editing using AAE, PS and a few others. Lets go...

Case and PSU should be changed but they don't have to be changed immediately, I suppose. As for CPU, you could upgrade to an i5-3470 or something without upgrading motherboard, but Broadwell and Skylake should be here by the end of the year, so you're honestly better off waiting until then. If you want to play GTA V, you're definitely going to want a GPU upgrade. Stock cooling is fine as long as you're not overclocking, which you can;t do without a motherboard and CPU upgrade anyway.

The PSU isn't very good, nor is the case. Fairly poor quality but they'll be fine for the time being. If you want DDR4, you're going to have to upgrade to X99 or wait for Skylake and/or Zen. AMD is a no go. AM3+ is a dead socket, Intel is better. Only reason to go AMD would be for FM2+ which would only be useful for APU rigs. Honestly, your best bet is to wait a month or so for Broadwell, or until the end of the year for Skylake. If you want an AMD rig, Zen should be coming mid-2016.

If you upgrade now, as I said, you could grab an i5-3470 or something from eBay, or a Xeon E3-1230 V2 if you can find one. Otherwise, you'll likely need a motherboard upgrade as well as CPU, but we can't help without a budget and currency.

We still can't help without a budget and currency. It's not what a PSU will do. It's not like getting a better quality PSU will have it make tea for you in the morning. It's going to stop the rest of your components from breaking. Poor quality PSUs put the entirety of your rig at risk.

Oh, that's fine. I had a very old 500W before this and it was fine for like 3 years. Recently changed it to this, if it breaks then i buy new stuff...

But anyway go £200 on the processor, £75 on the board.

Pounds GBP £ is the currency ..

It's not really fine. A bad quality PSU puts everything at risk. If that PSU dies then it could take literally everything else with it.
