usernamemanresu wrote Everyone keeps mentioning the "overwhelming" evidence of evolution. While there is some evidence, it is far from proof. In fact there is more proof that the Bible is correct than there is for evolution. Cave drawings of dinosaurs. How did early man know about them if they didn't coexist? Human footprints with dinosaurs in the same river bed found in Texas. Again, proof they coexisted.
And why do people think that the Bible is a translation of a translation of a translation? Ever heard of the Dead Sea scrolls?
Not to mention that absolutely nothing has ever been proven wrong in the Bible. Nothing.
You can believe what you want to believe. But if you're going to put your faith in something, why not GOD instead of scientists? "Science" is always changing.

The Dinosaur cave painting isn't a dinosaur, it was a snake and some mud stains which gave it 'legs.'
The Paluxi River footprints are 2 and a half times larger than any human foot ever recorded, and they don't have toe prints. Obviously they aren't human and are a species of dinosaur.

The Dead Sea scrolls were found in 1946, Bibles had been translated again and again down the generations before they resurfaced. It's not like they were there all along for theologians and scholars to reference from.

Nothing has ever been proven wrong in the Bible? Maybe that's because it's all mainly stories which can't be disproven. I could tell you that I own a fairy which doesn't let any one see it, disprove me?
Besides, Noah's Ark, there is no evidence that sea levels rose massively and caused millions of deaths worldwide.

Science is always changing because it can admit when it is wrong and build on it, always accepting the theory with the most evidence backing it.

The evidence for evolution is only overwhelming if you're a creationist looking at it for the first time. For anyone else it's just common sense and obviously the most likely theory for how we arrived as we are today.

But if there was that single fossil out of place then I would have to open up my mind and follow the next reasonable theory.

Bill Nye posed that challenge. If one creationist can find one fossil in a place where it shouldn't be, they would disprove the current theory. If Evolution is so wrong then why hasn't anyone found one yet?

Evolution is on the same playing field as Gravity for me. With the amount of evidence behind it, you might as well just call it fact.

i dont believe in gravity.
