My parents really enforced a work ethic into my life too. I'm a teenager but I'm not like that, so thank you to my parents I guess.

Many of my friends have jobs and are sticking with them. And API don't really understand why you care. If their not working, their not going to get money. It's as simple as that

I totally agree with you.
Everybody seems to have had everything they want just "Given" to them all of their lives, so thats how they were raised.
The profession that I am going into, is a lot of hard work, but I am willing to put that hard work in because I love what I do.

I can't get a job just yet, but I would love too. I am only 14 at the moment, and I would love to work down at a local restaurant! But, if I need money, I just sell candy, and food, at school!

I don't know why people don't like to work.
I love to work, I'd rather earn stuff rather than having stuff be handed to you.
Parents aren't just strict enough, they treat their kids like superstars and spoil them for days.
They need an old fashion whooping.
