I agree, I loved receiving money not doing anything, but now that I look back at it, I don't feel right about it. I didn't want to keep having to depend on my parents, especially when I'm 6 months away from being 18 years old. So I went out and got myself a job and work hard from start til it's time to get off and if I have to stay a few minutes after, I do until things settle down (I work at a non-chain, local pizza restaurant). I even got a pay raise after just 2 months, where as other who have been there longer are still working at minimum wage.

Point is that you feel better with your money if you earn it.

I am in the United States Army, before this i pretty much did nothing. I did depend off of my parents, and of course i miss the free meals, its so much better getting it yourself. You actually learn the value of money when you start earning your own.

I agree, I work my butt of so I can put a investment in a house in around 2 years and get a good car.
(Currently got 2000 Holden commodore)

Then I see one of my friends, his dad does something with the education system in Dubai and something with oil and pours in the money. He is pretty much buying my friend a $20,000 car and pays for his petrol and is going to pay half the cost of his first house...

I just hate it when I'm working for money and I see people get bottle fed.

I think everyone feels this way. Of course kids are going to want money but not have to work for it. Who would ask for anything else. I do see the problem with them giving no effort in their jobs though.

i want money, but im lazy. i still work hard for my money though.

i know how this is and one of my best friends has been out of highschool for 2 years "looking for a job"

but he is just too lazy. this is one of the reasons i "hate" kids.
and yes, most people my age from this generation are usually bums. at least the ones i know. this is iwhy im proud of my workand what i do/

It's not just the young people. Some older adults that are unemployed that get a check from unemployment don't search for a job because they see that as free money so why work? Thus they are unemployed even longer until their unemployment checks stop coming in, seriously what's wrong with these people?

you know what I think is just complete and utter bull shit is how these dumb ass idiots over at these fast food restaurants think that they deserve $15 an hour for literally doing shit for work. I get even more mad when I see the workers from McDonalds or Burger King doing this because I have been to both of those places and every damn time I go those stupid mother **** mess up my order, so how can you tell me that these ass holes deserve 15 dollars an hour when people who do much more hard work make less than that? Great now I am pissed off
