This is my 1st rant to ever post on here and it's something that bothers me the most being a young adult working.

I see teens going around talking about how they are "Looking for a job" and would love to work. But when the time comes for the interview with the company they back down saying "Oh, I don't feel like doing that kind of work" or "I'll just look for something else".

Kids these day's are willing to get the money, but aren't willing to do the work. When the get they job their late, they leave early, play on their phone, don't do what they get paid to do. I do what I get paid to do, what i'm told to do. I roll up my sleeves and work till it's done. And all they young adults that are going into their first jobs and not doing what they need to do. People are being babied now.

Or maybe this is how I was raised, to work hard and be successful.

Rant is over, what your opinions on kids wanting the money, but not the work?

It's something that bothers me a lot in my work environment.

Yeah we have a generation of lazy, arrogant teenagers. We just have to get used to it. :\

Note: I am not talking about all teenagers, it's just a generalization.

I totally agree with this.

Hate seeing people getting free money of the council.

It's not fair on workers.

Unless you were born into a wealthy family, where money wasn't a big deal.

You see it a lot with young teens, girls in particular where their parents will buy them literally anything they want.

I know your pain these dumb asses have made it hard for people like me to get a job because these company's hire these teenagers fire them and say lets not make that mistake again.
I am 16 and have applied for over 100's of jobs and have had 1 interview.
I've even applied to work third shift during school days and still nothing

Teens who expect to make money but dont work are arrogant and stupid. Its a very simple concept-> to get money, you have to work for it. I also think that the reason they dont want to work for money comes from their parents. My mom taught me at a young age that if i want something i have to work for it. These days kids just beg for something and their parents buy it.
