Technology giant Apple is in talks to buy headphone maker and music-streaming service provider Beats Electronics, according to various media reports.
By looking at the reports it says that Apple could pay as much as $3.2bn (1.9bn) and a deal could be announced next week.
If the Forbes estimates are correct, Dr. Dre needs about 450 million more dollars to become hip-hops first billionaire equal to a 15% stake in a $3 billion company. Neither Beats nor Apple

However, Apple boss Tim Cook said last month Apple was 'on the prowl' for more acquisitions, after buying 24 companies in the past 18 months and he was not averse to large acquisitions.
The potential $3.2 billion deal would mark Apples largest acquisition of another company ever.
It is believed Apple is also interested in Beats expertise in developing wearable products and it edges closer to a much anticipated iWatch launch

Dre Beats has earned Dr Dre more money than his recording career has.
Why would they not want this brand.
Apple changed the way we listen to music.
They are now going to improve how we listen to it.
Hopefully they look into getting better quality out of Beats without increasing the already inflated price.

Yeah course I am, because i can see a good business move.
If you want a petty Apple arguement you are looking in the wrong place.

Please be a joke, Beats have terrible sound quality they're not a headphones they're a Fashion Accessory for kids who think they have swag.
If you care about quality there are plenty of companies out there like;
- Beyerdyanmic
- Some Sony's
- Shure
- Sennheiser
e.g.

Which is why I mentioned improving the sound quality. But its also the build quality, I have seen them snap so easily.
And Apple is kinda known for being a Fashion thing aswell so they go hand in hand.
I use Sennheiser personally.

Hmm, but then again just because it's a possible business move, doesn't mean it's going to be a successful one. Guess we'll have to find out what happens.

The problem is even if they reduced the price tag to 50 they still wouldn't be worth the money you can get some amazing headphones for 50 for example; Sony MDR-V6.
The problem I think is that Beats by Dre is a flawed idea & instead of "Attempting" to fix it they need start from scratch.
