Extracting the Fat Man from Quarry JunctionI tried defeating the deathclaws at Quarry Junction at least 8 times off-camera, and I gave up. Instead, I use Stealth Boys to sneak into the quarry after dark, past the deathclaws, and to the first silt pool where the Fat Man has sat ever since the deathclaws moved in. I grab it, then sneak all the way over to a cave entrance, where I find a deathclaw nest, a mini-nuke for the Fat Man, and a light machine gun with ammo. I fast travel on out and head back to Sloan, since I got what I came for!
