Cold-Blooded Driller Achievement Guide

Cold-Blooded Driller is an unmissable story-related achievement worth 20G. This is one of the easier boss fights in the game, once you know what you're doing. This boss is easiest to kill using Squeezy and Kenny in conjunction with one another. Every time that Krubis burrows underground, be prepared to shoot Squeezy's special slow motion bubble at him the moment he resurfaces. Then, run over to him and repeatedly melee attack him with Knifey. One barrage with Knifey should take around a third of his life away. While he is launching his attacks above ground, use the wasps to tether around and avoid his attacks. Try to stay out of his direct line of vision. Shoot him with Kenny's normal rounds whenever you see him during this phase. He should only be able to burrow 2-4 times in total if you use this method to end his life. Once this happens, the achievement will pop immediately.

Notes:

Use the shields lying around the corners of the arena.
The game may bug out and Krubis will be unable to resurface. In this case, restart the checkpoint.
