Far Cry New Dawn has 9 Dear Photograph Locations. Finding all of them unlocks the "Before" trophy or achievement. They are also required to complete A Thousand Words Side Mission.

None of them are missable, you can still find these Collectibles after the story. In order to start collecting the Photographs you must first pick up Tracey's Shoebox at Prosperity (your home base). It will be marked as a side mission with a blue icon on the map, we'll go through the exact location below. Once you have this you can go to the Photo Locations. There you find a yellow mat with a camera on it. The camera will point in the direction of the photo. Stand on the yellow mat and hold D-Pad Up to pull out the picture, then align it correctly. When done correctly the screen will flash and you receive a Perk Point.

You can unlock the Photograph Locations on your in-game map by upgrading the Cartography Shop at Prosperity and buying the dear photographs map from there.

To keep track of how many Photos you've found simply zoom out on the world map for all statistics.
