Tyr's Temple is inaccessible until late into the game! You can get everything on your first visits to each part of the temple, but know that these require a lot of story progress. The second temple part is at the very end of the story. You might as well ignore this area until you have beaten the game, you can't complete it much sooner than that anyway.

Tyr's Temple has two large areas inside (under) the temple -- the two you visit during the story. The first is with the sand-bowl that activates an elevator going down. The second is where you go to later in the story, with the upside-down tree where you got to destroy two big chains and then turn the tree around.

For spoiler reasons you may want to hold off from watching this until you're done with the story.
