Zone Plus Analog uses the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to adjust your players stride as well as the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to place the location of your swing. This takes a little practice to get down. You will have to pull [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] then push it back up [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to swing. It takes a little while to get it down and the timing is different for each pitch. You will also need to push the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] towards the area where the ball will be when you swing.
For fastballs, I quickly push [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] right as the pitcher is releasing the ball, then [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to swing. For off speed pitches, you'll need to start a little later. I recommend using guess pitch and location and sit on that pitch if you are not experienced with this control type. If you guess location low and are correct, move the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] down slightly. Make sure you are set at All-Star hitting difficulty and ZPA for controls.
